Welcome to Da Vinci's Library. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform, including but not limited to browsing our book selections, placing orders, accessing information about our events, and utilising our bespoke book recommendation service. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Online Ordering and Local Delivery
- Product Availability: All books, whether new or second-hand, and other items displayed on our site are subject to availability. We strive to maintain accurate stock levels but cannot guarantee the availability of every item at all times.
- Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product or service without prior notice at any time.
- Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation signifies that we have received your order request, not that it has been accepted or shipped.
- Local Delivery: Local delivery services are available within a specified radius of our store. Further details regarding delivery zones and charges will be provided during the checkout process. We aim to deliver within agreed timescales but cannot guarantee exact delivery times.
- Cancellation and Returns: Please refer to our separate Return Policy for information regarding order cancellations, returns, and refunds for both new and second-hand books.
3. Author Events, Book Clubs, and Workshops
- Registration: Participation in our author events, book club meetings, and literary workshops may require registration, which will be detailed on our site.
- Event Changes: Da Vinci's Library reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances without liability. Attendees will be notified via our online platform or direct communication.
- Cafe Services: While our cafe operates during store hours, specific offerings and availability are subject to change. Purchases made within the cafe are subject to the terms of sale displayed on the premises.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the site, is the property of Da Vinci's Library or its suppliers and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. 7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
8. Limitation of Liability

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
